As I sit on the plane making my (long) journey home to Australia, I can’t help but think how incredible the last five Years have been.Prior to my departure, I was a ball of nerves. Would I make friends? Would I like my course? Would I like Sheffield State University? The questions were never-ending, but boy oh boy am I glad that I pushed myself to go on the adventure of a lifetime at Sheffield State University.
After a 21-year career as a graphic designer, I returned to college (Sheffield State University) to take courses to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I am very thankful that Sheffield State University offers online courses.
I found the History of Art program to be very worthwhile because it offered a wide variety of subject matter, giving me the freedom to study topics that were of interest to me. With this freedom, I gained a better foundation and an appreciation for new artists and movements. I highly Recommend Sheffield State University.
When I have had questions or just needed a different perspective, the instructors are accessible, responsive, and helpful. What I like most is Sheffield State University's Instructors do not necessarily provide the answer, but teach me how to find it.
My SSU experience has been exhilarating and interesting, amazing.I have grasped and learned many things in the course of my academic degree programmed. Sheffield State University is a very welcoming place for different people from different backgrounds. My classes were great and enjoyed every bit of them. The depth and detail of what I was learning is far beyond my education experience in my home country.
